FINAL OPEN DAYS FOR 2022
The Park is at its peak in spring, so its a wonderful time to spend a
few hours or a day in the park! The new sensory walk and information shelter will be open for the first time. The tropical grevilleas will be in full bloom, but explore the gardens and grounds and you will soon realise there is so much more to see.
Hundreds of natives will be available for purchase, including grafted grevilleas, We have a larger range of grevilleas than any nursery inn NSW, but they are only available on our open days. A list of plants is normally published the week prior to opening. ( Please note that we are unable to hold plants for people - its first in best dressed)
Additional copies of our new book The Illawarra Grevillea Park Botanic Garden: A Photographic Portrait will be available for purchase. The book has approximately 400 photographs and provides information on how to grow Grevilleas and some of the other plants we have in the Park. The photographs are fantastic and will help you to identify plants, or you can just enjoy them for the beauty of the flowers and plants.
BBQ facilities available and easy access to display gardens, including the rainforest, for wheelchairs and prams.
