The Grevillea Park will open on the weekend of October 30 and 31.
We usually do not open at this time because we are in the middle of significant pruning. And while some pruning will have commenced there will still be plenty of plants in flower and tracks to explore.
There has also been a significant demand to open so that people can buy plants - and we will have over a thousand plants available. Keep an eye on this page the week before we open for an availability list - including grafted Grevilleas.
It's also an exciting time because we will finally have our new book The Illawarra Grevillea Park Botanic Garden: A Photographic Portrait available for purchase. The book has approximately 400 photographs and provides information on how to grow Grevilleas and some of the other plants we have in the Park. The photographs are fantastic and will help you to identify plants, or you can just enjoy them for the beauty of the flowers and plants.
Closer to the opening we will release details about conditions of entry based on Government guidelines to ensure the safety of both visitors and volunteers.
Opening hours 10am -4pm
Entry $7.00 Children free
Dogs on leash allowed
See the Facebook page for updates and some details of the book.
